Sandeep Malhotra, DTM is a senior engineering professional, passionate communicator and community leader based in Oman. A dedicated Toastmaster, he has served in several club, Area and Division leadership roles, including Division G Director.
Beyond Toastmasters, he actively contributes to cultural and community initiatives in Oman. As DTAC 2027 Chair, he leads the team behind “Where Voices Rise.”

TM Yaqoub Al Abri, IT Director at the College of Banking and Financial Studies, leverages 21 years of diverse IT expertise in teaching and short courses. A 14-year Toastmaster, he founded Al Mabailah Club and mentors Bousher and Geomatics clubs. His distinguished leadership spans roles as DTAC Deputy Chair (2021), Area 12 Director (2023), and Division D Director (2024).
With 22 years of experience, Faiz is an entrepreneur, author, coach and trainer, bringing expertise in marketing, sales, AI and Toastmasters leadership to the DTAC 2027 team.
Faiz bin Ibrahim Al-Maamari brings 22 years of work experience across multiple sectors. He is an MBA student, entrepreneur, author of nine books, book writing coach and trainer in marketing, sales and AI.
With 14 years in the world of Toastmasters, he is a DTAC Champion in Humorous Speech and Table Topics. He has chaired the Arabic Clubs Committee, led Arabic programs at DTAC previously and served on various District committees.
An Interior Designer, Artist and experienced leader, combining over ten years of Toastmasters experience with expertise across design, education and wellness.
DTM Vaishali Thakar is an Interior Designer and Artist with experience across design, education, administration and leadership.
A Reiki Grandmaster by passion, she believes in continuous learning, personal growth and holistic development.
Associated with Toastmasters International for over 10 years, she has taken on several leadership roles. Her diverse experience in design, art, education, administration, wellness and leadership brings a unique blend of creativity and communication to DTAC 2027.
A Toastmaster for over a decade, Shahad transformed her fear of speaking into professional growth and meaningful impact, bringing sixteen years of career experience to DTAC 2027.
Shahad Al Wahaibi has been a Toastmaster for over a decade, enriching her life and helping her conquer her biggest fear — speaking.
The experience has supported her growth throughout a career spanning over 16 years, helped her win contests and inspired her to publish a children’s book addressing the harm bullying does to children.
Shahad joined the DTAC 2027 team to serve a community that can make a positive impact on the people of Oman, just as Toastmasters did for her.
A Human Resource Management professional, dedicated Toastmaster, passionate crafter and animal rescuer.
TM Bindu Mohite holds a PG Diploma in Human Resource Management and has been working with National Telephone Services Co. LLC (NTS) since 2006 in various positions.
A Toastmaster since 2020, she has served as Assistant Program Quality Director at Division level, Assistant Club Growth Director and Secretary at Area level.
Her club leadership experience includes Club President, VPE, VPM and SAA. She is also a charter member of Acers and Pacers Toastmasters Club.
Outside Toastmasters, she is a passionate Crafter and Animal Rescuer.
A legal professional and experienced leader who has worked across diverse sectors in Oman for more than a decade.
TM Aitry Chatterjee hails from Kolkata, India. After completing her Honours and law studies, she practiced as a lawyer in Kolkata before moving to Oman.
She has worked across diverse sectors for over a decade in Oman. A Toastmaster for five years, she has served in leadership roles at Club, Area, Division and District levels.
She proudly serves as President of Al Naba Toastmasters Club – the club’s first and only female President and its only female member.
Financial Advisor with the Bin Salim Group and is a 17-year Toastmaster veteran and Past Division G Director.
Govind Negi, DTM, is a Chartered Accountant serving as a Financial Advisor for the Bin Salim Group. A resident of Oman for 32 years, he has dedicated nearly two decades to community leadership, currently serving as the Vice Chairman of Indian Social Club. As a 17-year Toastmaster veteran and Past Division G Director, he is a pillar of the public speaking community.
He is a passionate trekker, adventurer, and dedicated social worker who has been conducting free community yoga classes for 26 years.
He is guided by a profound personal philosophy of “living here and now.”
He joined Toastmasters in 2010 and steadily grew through leadership roles at Club, Area, Division, and District levels.
Praveen V. Panicker, DTM, hails from Kerala and has been in Oman since 2005, working with Bahwan Engineering Company. He joined Toastmasters in 2010 and steadily grew through leadership roles at Club, Area, Division, and District levels.
His passion is working with young minds, encouraging them to build confidence and become future leaders. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Oman Gavel Championship.
An architect with 34 years of experience and a passionate leader dedicated to leadership and community service.
DTM Sachin Thakar is an architect with 34 years of experience and currently serves as Deputy General Manager at Design Group Engineering Consultants LLC.
A Toastmaster for 12 years, he has served as Division Director, Area Director, Club Growth Chair, Club President, IPP, trainer, advisor, charter member and sponsor.
A former Rotaract District Representative, he is also an aspiring motivational speaker with a strong passion for leadership and community service.
